If it’s going to rain on any day of a 3-Day-Event, I guess trot-up Wednesday is the best day for that to happen. Today it rained, like you wouldn’t believe. The girls dressed up, the boys wore bright trousers with tweed jackets, suits, and some even just a shirt. We all got wet.
Alex Peternell had two horses trotting on springs, and spare a thought for US based Australian, Kate Chatterton who having been sat on the wait list, spent ‘forever’ in the holding box having been last to go, and was thankfully passed on re-inspection.
There are now 101 horses that go forward to the dressage for the Blenheim Horse Trials CCI*** class. I’ll be back tomorrow provided I manage to dry-out.
The weather forecast is good for tomorrow and the weekend. You can find out all you need to know on their website:
See you there!
